1.Min Jiang

Head to Kensington and dine at Min Jiang. Enjoy views of Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens from this stylish restaurant, located on the 10th floor of the Royal Garden Hotel. This tasteful restaurant is great for classic Chinese dishes but is a firm favourite amongst diners for its wood-fired duck.

2. Hutong at The Shard

This lavish Chinese restaurant is found on level 33 of The Shard… talk about dining with a view! Looking for a bit of luxury this Chinese New Year, sit amongst lanterns, traditional wooden dividers and a Chinese wishing tree and enjoy tasty northern Chinese dishes. Hutong is the home to a Chinese wishing tree which is frequently used by it’s diners and adds to the impressive restaurant visuals, inside and out.

3. Ping Pong

For those diners looking to celebrate Chinese New Year and save the pennies, visit Ping Pong. With locations in Covent Garden, Soho and Southbank, Ping Pong offers an energetic and contemporary stopover spot for a bite to eat during a busy day out in London. With their main specialities consisting of dim sum, teas and cocktails, Ping Pong is known for delivering some of the best food in town.

4. Din Tai Fung

Enjoy traditional Chinese food at Din Tai Fung, named one of the top ten gourmet restaurants in the world by The New York Times. Located in Covent Garden, and branches across more than a dozen countries, Din Tai Fung is best known for its xiao long bao – Shanghainese soup dumplings – but also plenty of regional Chinese street food. This fashionable dining setting is airy and full of daylight from it's central atrium and staff deliver the best possible service to ensure your food comes out piping hot.

5. Kym's 

If you're looking for a Chinese restaurant that has the looks, the service and the vibe as well as amazing food, head to Kym's located in Bloomberg Arcade, near Bank station. Kym's serve mostly small and sharing plates, but don't worry, you won't miss out on the bigger 'classic' dishes. On entrance, you will be greeted by a faux blossom tree in the lounge bar and dine in their clean and casual restaurant area featuring a vibrant open kitchen running the length of the back wall.
