Last week VSL were excited to head down to the legendary Flipper’s Roller Boogie Palace, to experience the space in action. This 34,000 square-foot venue is the first flagship location outside North America and is the first permanent Flippers venue in the world since 1981!
Originally a popular hotspot in the late 70’s and early 80’s in Los Angeles, Flippers Roller Boogie Palace is a retro-roller institution steeped in history and has made the former Exhibition London building its new home. Located in White City, West London, the grade II listed building dates back to 1899 and is a former power station; which can accommodate an impressive 2,000 person-capacity. The venue spans across two floors with over 1,200 square metres of flexible event space, a full-size roller rink, fixed stage with live music and DJ infrastructure, as well as an American style diner & pro skate shop. Now an all-year-round spot right here in our capital, the space is open to the public for specified times but can also be used for private events as well as full exclusive venue hire.
